Ms. Vickers grew up in Regina but now makes her home in Frankfurt, Germany. Performing throughout the Far East, Europe and North America, she is known for the wide range of her repertoire and is a frequent guest at international new music festivals. Welcome back, Catherine!

Meagan Milatz, piano (The Regina Musical Club 2009 Recital Competition Winner)

The REGINA MUSICAL CLUB is proud to announce the winner of its annual Recital Competition, held on May 9, 2009. The winner of this competition is pianist Meagan Milatz of Weyburn, Saskatchewan. Meagan’s playing is dynamic, precise, powerful, subtle and incredibly engaging–given her increasing notoriety across Canada. She clearly has an exciting future ahead. Meagan will present a full recital on January 16th, 2010 under the auspices of the Regina Musical Club and will receive a cash prize of $1,000. Congratulations Meagan!

Join veteran Canadian actor Colin Fox, pianist Michael Kim and soprano Susan Gilmour Bailey as they take you on a journey with words and music through the life of love, obstacles, happiness and tragedy between Robert and Clara Schumann. Presented by Prairie Debut.

Jean Sebastian Roy, violin with Mathieu Gaudet, piano

This young, award-winning musician plays on a 1717 “Windsor-Weinstein” Stradivarius, the loan of which was awarded to him by the Canada Council for the Arts Instrument Bank. A dazzling treat is in store for us!
