Join us as we open our 99th season with internationally acclaimed pianist, Kathleen Solose. Critics have praised the “high-calibre pianism” and “virtuosic mastery” of this versatile Canadian performer. Ms. Solose recently presented all five Beethoven piano concerti and his Triple Concerto on her 1814 Viennese fortepiano with the Saskatoon Symphony Chamber Orchestra.

It’s a real thrill for the Regina Musical Club to present this concert. Each year we sponsor a competition and the winner gets to perform a recital the following season. Regina cellist Peter Cosbey, a wonderful young Saskatchewan talent, is the winner of the 2006 competition; he will be joined by pianist Mariko Kamachi.

Enjoy a delightful evening of song with accomplished vocalist Kathryn Whitney – who studied with Emma Kirkby and until recently was an “Artist in Residence” at the University of Oxford – and well-known Vancouver Island pianist and vocal coach Charlotte Hale.
