Kerry-Anne Kutz, soprano, and her Baroque Ensemble 

Join us as we open our 98th season with “Faustina and Bach”, a baroque musical adventure. Kerry-Anne Kutz and the three members of her Baroque Ensemble recount the life of J.S. Back, as told by the brilliant 18th century singer/actress Faustina Bordoni.

Saturday, November 5th, 2005:

Susanne Hou, violin

Lord Yehudi Menuhin thought she was “…absolutely phenomenal.” So how could you miss an evening with this young Canadian musician? Among the many honours violinist Susanne Hou has garnered in recent years was the Canada Council for the Arts Instrument Bank Competition. Her prize? The loan of the 1729 “ex-Heath” Guarneri del Jesu violin.

Help us celebrate the New Year with cellistElizabeth McLellan, our 2005 Recital Competition winner. Currently working towards her Master’s degree at the University of Western Ontario in London, Liza is familiar to many Reginans who watched her talent develop in the South Saskatchewan Yourh Orchestra and the Regina Symphony Orchestra.
