Marco Ding is a third-year student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Clarinet Performance at the University of Toronto, studying under Miles Haskins. Before coming to Toronto, he took part as the principal clarinet of the South Saskatchewan Youth Orchestra and the National Youth Band of Canada. He won multiple competitions and awards at the Regina and Saskatchewan Music Festivals, including the Fleming Award, Love of Music scholarship, and first place in the MLT-Aikins competition. For the past year, he has regularly performed with the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra and the University of Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
